TCWC Board of Directors

Alice Murphy

Alice and her husband Bill have lived in Trophy Club for over 27 years. Alice has volunteered for the Allocations & Grants committee, Scholarship Chair, Home Tour committee, Activities Chair, and VP Member ship Development before being elected as President. She is a registered nurse and licensed counselor but considers herself “retired”! Her passions are wine, basset hounds and olive oil. Bill and Alice have four grown children and ten grandchildren plus four loud basset hounds. It is never quiet at their house. Alice is active in the Wine group, Bunco and Critical Thinker’s book club.

Carol Jansen

VP Programs

Carol and her husband Tom have lived in Trophy Club for eight years with their Cocker Spaniel Cassee, and she joined TCWC to get to know people and her community. An Army Veteran, Carol has worked for the European Division of the University of Maryland, for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, taught special education and was a corporate meeting/event planner. After leaving the corporate world, she attended culinary school and worked as a manager for Williams-Sonoma. Carol has always been an active volunteer in communities in which she lived. She and Tom have passed their  love to travel on to their son, serving in the U.S. Army, and daughter-in-law, who currently live in Boston.

Crystal Tschirgi

VP Communications

Crystal and her husband, Fred, relocated to Roanoke 8 years a go after her husband got out of the Marines.  Crystal has 2 children. She recently resigned as office manager at Baylor to persue her own dream.  Crystal is now running her own marketing company.  Crystal is a member of the wine club.  On her spare time she loves to spend time with her family and do arts and crafts.

Jeannette Tiffany

VP Membership Development

Jeannette’s professional experience began as a public-school educator and transitioned to business consulting for the last twenty-five years of her career. When she retired her husband, Jarry, told her to work on her “short game”. Golf takes a significant amount of time including play and practice.

Jarry and Jeannette moved to Trophy Club in 2009 building a new home in Hogan’s Glen. An important member of the family is their dog, Watson. A favorite activity together is an afternoon ride through the neighborhood in Watsons’s golf cart!

Jeannette served on the town council, 2011-2014. She is responsible for leading the town to becoming a golf cart community. She launched Trophy Club Stars and Stripes June 2011. July 4th is a special time for Jeannette in Trophy Club: thousands of red, white, and blue flags flying along the streets of Trophy Club and families out and about in golf carts.

She believes membership in Trophy Club Women’s Club opened the doors for her to be a contributing resident of Trophy Club. Many opportunities are available to members who want to make a difference in the community and make new friends.

Rose Kirk

VP Membership Technical

Rose moved to Trophy Club a little over two years ago after living in Arlington for the last 36 years. She is married, has one step-daughter, two grandkids, and two great-grandchildren.  Rose retired from Alcon Labs two years ago.  She plays the handbells at her church and likes to fish and scrapbook in her spare time.

Lin Yuan

Lin and her husband Shengxiong Shengxiong have lived in Trophy Club for five years. They have two young children. Lin grew up in Beijing China and went to graduate school at Texas A&M University. She currently works as a commercial real estate broker with Henry S. Miller Brokerage LLC. Prior to joining the real estate industry, Lin worked in the landscape architecture and urban design field. In her spare time, Lin likes to spend time with her family and volunteer in our community.

Doris Riddle

Doris moved to Trophy Club 5 years ago from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  Always an animal lover, Doris adopted two wonderful, beautiful, intelligent, extra special cats here at Trophy Club.  She is mother to two children, one in Austin and one in Charleston, SC.  An ex-real estate broker, now retired, she pursues her part time business (hobby?) of making handcrafted jewelry.  At the urging of some of her Trophy Club friends she joined the Critical Thinkers Book Club two years ago and is very glad to have done so -- a great club with the most interesting and enjoyable members.

Kathy Carlton

Kathy has worked as a Director of Government Affairs for 23 years and loves to talk politics! She joined the TCWC within a month of moving to Trophy Club nine years ago. She and her husband raised three adopted children and now have five grandchildren whom she wishes lived closer. Kathy was active in Girl Scouts for many years and is a lifetime member. When she has the time, she loves to scrapbook.

Kathy has served as Garage Sale Chair, Program Chair, TCWC President in 2014 & 2015, and Home Tour Chair in 2016.
