TCWC brings Military Dog Sculpture to Freedom Park

Sculptor Susan Norris has a long history of touching the hears of others through her art.  Recently, she took on a new project - one involving may's best friend.  Titled "My Hero, My Friend."

Norris's newest statute is a life-size bronze sculpture of a military working dog wearing a  Purple Heart, mourning the loss of its two-legged companion.

This sculpture  is meant to honor the bravery and dedication of a military service dog to its human handler.  The sculpture will reside at Veteran's Memorial Park.  This sculpture is the result of a long collaboration between Trophy Club Women's Club and Susan Norris.
