...and typically at this time we are busy putting the final touches on our Tour of Homes, always the first weekend of the month. This year, of course, is different. No touring homes but, instead, consider “giving back” by going out to eat at designated restaurants while they contribute a portion of your purchases to our Allocations and Grants fund for local charities. Our DINE & DONATE event this Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th, allows you to Dine In (or outside) or Takeout — whatever you choose, do it multiple times this weekend because many of our participating restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There are options for every palette!
Saturday consider the newly opened Starwood Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Jimmy John's Roanoke would be a great place for a lunch sandwich on either Saturday or Sunday. Smiley's Barbecue (in the Food and Brew building) will make your mouth water and your taste buds tingle for traditional Texas brisket. Pick from Italian or Mexican for dinner either day - Vinny's, Italian Bistro and On the Border are all participating! (On the Border has a great heated patio with a large firepit where you can enjoy a margarita!) Or visit Chopshop Live if you prefer red meat and music!
On Sunday, stop by Anton's for some delicious baked goods, breakfast or a fabulous meatball sandwich! Try some seafood or sushi at Fosters, and make sure you plan a visit to Hey Sugar - a wonderful old-fashioned ice cream and candy shop owned by a Trophy Club resident to finish out the weekend.
Each of these establishments have taken a chance with us for our first ever Dine and Donate Event. Let’s support them and help pay it back for both our restaurants and our charities!
